As your Authorised Representative, get-e-right France will assume all obligations on your behalf under Article L541-10-9-1 of the French Environmental Code.

Legal background

Foreign distance sellers are likewise obliged to comply with the respective national EPR regulations. For this reason, non-French distance sellers must also appoint an Authorised Representative in France, who is responsible for compliance with the obligations there.

In France, this obligation is described by Article L541-10-9-1 of the French Environmental Code:

"Where a person not established in France is subject to the principle of extended producer responsibility pursuant to Articles L. 541-10 or L. 541-10-9, they shall appoint, by written mandate, a natural or legal person established in France as an authorised representative responsible for ensuring compliance with their obligations under the extended producer responsibility scheme. That authorised representative is subrogated to all obligations arising from the principle of extended producer responsibility for which they accept the mandate."
